Ingredients
- 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp salted butter softened
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 squeeze of honey
- 4 slices seeded farmhouse bread
- 8 slices wafer thin honey roast ham
- 40 g cornish cruncher cheddar (optional)
- 1 handful watercress rocket or iceberg lettuce
- 1 tomato thinly sliced
Steps
- Spread the softened butter over one side of each bread slice.
- Stir the mustard, mayonnaise, and honey together in a small bowl.
- Spread the sauce over the buttered sides of the bread.
- Layer the ham, cheddar, onion, tomato, and greens between the bread slices, then close the sandwiches.
