Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 5 1/2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 2 lemons
- 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
- fresh flat leaf parsley (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir in the garlic and lemon zest.
- Place the tilapia in a lightly oiled 9-by-13-inch baking dish and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pour the garlic butter over the fillets and top them with panko crumbs.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the crumbs brown and the fish reaches 145 F.
- Squeeze lemon over the cooked fish and add parsley if using.
