Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 few shakes of tabasco hot sauce
- 4 oz smoked salmon
- 1/4 cup goat cheese crumbles
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 tbsp green onion
Steps
- Thaw the puff pastry according to its package directions and heat the oven to 400 F.
- Press the pastry into a 9-inch pie pan, trim the edges, and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then reduce the oven to 350 F.
- Whisk the eggs, cream, salt, and hot sauce in a bowl.
- Scatter the salmon, goat cheese, dill, and green onion over the crust, then pour in the egg mixture.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the center is set and the eggs are fully firm.
