Ingredients
- 2 lb pork loin chops
- 2 onions
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 2 tsp prepared mustard
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 juniper berries
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Steps
- Crush the juniper berries and mix them with oil, mustard, garlic, paprika, pepper, oregano, thyme, cayenne, and salt.
- Coat the pork chops and sliced onions with the marinade, then rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, about 400 F.
- Grill the chops and onions for 5 to 7 minutes per side.
- Cook until the thickest chop reaches 145 F, then rest for 5 minutes.
