Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh peaches
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth, then beat in the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
- Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the peaches, spread the batter in the pan, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing.
