Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb lean beef stew meat cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 oz baby yukon gold potatoes
- 6 boiling onions or one regular onion cut into 2 inch chunks
- 6 carrots cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz) cream of celery soup
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Steps
- Heat the oven to 275 F.
- Place the beef, soup mix, paprika, salt, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery soup, and ketchup in a covered oven-safe pot.
- Stir until the beef and vegetables are coated.
- Cover and bake for 8 hours, until the beef is tender and reaches 160 F.
- Stir the stew before serving.
