Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 package mint chocolate chips
- 20 miniature peppermint patties
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and line two baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms, then fold in the mint chocolate chips.
- Wrap each peppermint patty with dough and place the cookies two inches apart on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, then cool the cookies on the sheets for 10 minutes.
