- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (optional)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
Steps
- Warm the milk until lukewarm, then stir in the sugar, honey, and yeast and rest for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the egg, salt, 4 tablespoons melted butter, and flour, then knead for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 8 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 18 pieces, shape them into rolls, and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake the rolls at 400 F for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
- Mix the remaining butter with honey, cinnamon, and powdered sugar, then brush it over the hot rolls.
