Ingredients
- 3 lb boneless turkey breast
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp chopped fresh sage
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- salt and black pepper
- 1 small yellow onion
- 1 cup chicken broth (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and place the turkey breast in a roasting pan.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil if using, then season it with parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the onion and place it around the turkey with the chicken broth if using.
- Roast for 80 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 165 F.
- Rest the turkey for 20 minutes before slicing.
