Ingredients

800 g floury potatoes
50 g butter

2 tbsp mustard
180 g ham

Steps

Boil the potatoes in salted water in a large pot for 15 minutes.
Add the cabbage and cook for 5 minutes until both vegetables are tender.
Drain the vegetables, return them to the pot, and mash them with butter, cream, mustard, garlic, and pepper.
Fold in the ham and spring onions, then warm the colcannon over low heat for 3 minutes.
