Ingredients
- 19 oz pizza dough
- 4 1/2 heaping spoonfuls of fig spread/jam
- 3 slices prosciutto
- 7 1/8 slices inch fresh mozzarella
- 1 1/2 cups fresh arugula (optional)
- 2 1/2 tbsp balsamic reduction
- 1/4 cup semolina flour
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Steps
- Heat the oven to 475 F and dust a large baking sheet with semolina flour.
- Stretch the dough onto the sheet and spread the fig jam over it.
- Top the dough with mozzarella and prosciutto, leaving the arugula aside.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust is browned and the cheese melts.
- Simmer the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a small saucepan for 12 minutes, until reduced, then drizzle it over the pizza.
- Top with arugula and cut the pizza into pieces.
