Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups fried chicken breading mix
- oil for frying (optional)
Steps
- Cut the potatoes into thin wedges and soak them in the milk for 5 minutes.
- Heat 1 inch of cooking oil to 350 F in a deep skillet.
- Drain the potatoes, coat them thoroughly with the fried chicken breading mix, and shake off the excess.
- Fry the wedges in batches for 5 to 7 minutes, turning once, until golden and tender.
- Check that the thickest part of the poultry reaches 165 F before serving.
- Drain the potato mojos on paper towels and season with salt while hot.
