Ingredients
- 30 oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 gallon ice cream
Steps
- Crush 20 cookies and press them into the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Melt the margarine and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, then remove the pan from the heat.
- Whisk in the beaten eggs and powdered sugar, return the pan to low heat, and stir until the mixture reaches 160 F.
- Cool the chocolate mixture for 15 minutes, then spread it over the cookie layer.
- Spread the softened ice cream over the chocolate layer and press the remaining 10 cookies on top.
- Freeze the cake for 3 hours, until firm, before cutting.
