Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips
  • flakey sea salt for sprinkling on top (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Stir the oats and baking soda in a small bowl.
  3. Beat peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a larger bowl.
  4. Fold the oat mixture and chocolate chips into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Drop 18 spoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the centers are firm.
