- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas with the maple syrup, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Whisk the chickpea flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a second bowl.
- Stir the dry mixture into the banana mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips or nuts.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 40 minutes, until the center is firm and the eggs are fully cooked.
- Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.
