Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter + 2 tbs
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 cans (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 packages (12 oz) semisweet chocolate pieces
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 pkg m&m’s
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Beat 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla, then stir in flour, baking soda, and oats.
- Press the oat mixture into the pan and bake for 12 minutes.
- Melt the remaining butter, condensed milk, chocolate pieces, and 2 teaspoons vanilla in a saucepan over low heat.
- Spread the chocolate mixture over the warm crust, sprinkle with candy pieces, and cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
