1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 lemon

5 tbsp old bay seasoning

2 lb raw shrimp in shells
1/2 lb butter

Steps

Combine the water, vinegar, lemon half, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, peppercorns, salt, cayenne, and bay leaves in a large pot, then boil for 8 minutes.
Add the shrimp, return the water to a boil, and cook for 4 minutes, until the shrimp are opaque and reach 145 F.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes, then stir in the salt, optional cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
Drain the shrimp and spoon the warm butter sauce over them.
