3 cups honey nut chex
3 cups cinnamon chex
1 1/8 cups pecan halves
3/4 cups dried banana chips
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp banana extract
1/2 tsp rum extract

Steps

Heat the oven to 250 F and line a large rimmed baking sheet.
Combine both cereals, pecans, and banana chips in a large bowl.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, banana extract, and rum extract.
Pour the coating over the cereal mixture and toss until evenly covered.
Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Cool the mix for two minutes before serving.
