- 1 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup mirin
- oil spray
- 8 tbsp water
- terikayi sauce
- roasted sesame
- green onions
Steps
- Combine the soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, mirin, and water in a 10-inch skillet.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat and cook it for 3 minutes.
- Crack the eggs into the simmering sauce, cover the skillet, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Check that the eggs are cooked firm, then spoon the teriyaki sauce over them.
- Sprinkle with roasted sesame or green onions if using.
