Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lb simple truth shrimp
- 4 tbsp tequila
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- salt & pepper to taste (optional)
- 1 tsp red crushed pepper
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- lime wedges to serve
Steps
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic and red pepper, then cook for 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes, turning once, until pink, firm, and 145 F inside.
- Pour in the tequila and lime juice, then simmer for 3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, stir in the cilantro, and cook for 1 minute.
