Ingredients
- 3 cups cold mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cold butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 2-quart baking dish with some of the butter.
- Whisk the mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, remaining quarter cup butter, salt, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Mix the brown sugar, pecans, flour, and cold butter in a bowl until crumbly, then sprinkle the topping over the potatoes.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the center is set and the eggs are fully cooked.
