Ingredients
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 small french bread/baguette
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 english cucumber
- 4 cups tomatoes
- 1/4 cup ribbon sliced basil (optional)
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp finely minced garlic
Steps
- Cut the baguette into bite-size cubes and toss them with melted butter, 1/4 cup olive oil, and garlic powder.
- Whisk the remaining olive oil, white wine, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, salt, and minced garlic in a large bowl.
- Chop the tomatoes and cucumber, then add them and the basil to the dressing.
- Toss in the bread cubes and let the salad stand for 30 minutes before serving.
