- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 your choice of treat: mini chocolate bars
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease two baking sheets with cooking oil.
- Whisk the flour and baking soda together in a bowl.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth, then stir in the flour mixture and chocolate chips.
- Wrap each mini chocolate bar with cookie dough and place 12 portions on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
