Ingredients
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 6 oz imitation crab meat
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce (optional)
- 2 sheets nori
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 cucumber
- sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Steps
- Rinse the sushi rice, cook it with water until tender, and let it stand for 10 minutes.
- Stir rice vinegar, sugar, and salt into the warm rice, then cool it for 10 minutes.
- Mix the imitation crab with mayonnaise and sriracha, if using.
- Place one nori sheet on a work surface, spread on half the rice, and add half the crab mixture, avocado, and cucumber.
- Roll the nori tightly, slice it with a damp knife, and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
