Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp grated tangerine zest
- 4 tsp lemon zest
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed tangerine juice
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and line baking sheets with parchment or lightly oil them.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat the butter, sugar, tangerine zest, and lemon zest in a large bowl until creamy, then beat in the eggs.
- Mix in the tangerine juice, lemon juice, and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until set.
- Whisk the powdered sugar with enough citrus juice left in the bowl to make a glaze, then spread it over the cooled cookies.
