- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup chopped pretzel sticks
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Microwave the sweet potatoes with 2 tablespoons water in a covered bowl for 8 to 10 minutes, until tender.
- Mash the sweet potatoes with sugar, 1/2 cup butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
- Spread the mixture in the baking dish and cover it with pretzels, pecans, cranberries, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup melted butter.
- Bake for 15 minutes, until the center reaches 160 F and the topping is crisp.
