- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 2 bell peppers
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Cook the beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 8 minutes, until it reaches 160 F.
- Add the sliced peppers, onion, garlic, and seasoning salt, then cook for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the eggs, cream, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
- Spread the beef mixture in the baking dish, pour the egg mixture over it, and cover with provolone.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until the eggs are firm, then rest for 5 minutes.
