Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm pears
- 2 heads radicchio
- 1 small fennel bulb
- 1 orange
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Whisk the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a small bowl for 2 minutes.
- Halve and thinly slice the pears, radicchio, fennel, and orange, then place them in a large bowl.
- Add the walnuts and toss the salad gently with the dressing for 2 minutes.
- Refrigerate the salad for 20 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Toss once more and serve within 5 minutes.
