- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 cups cake flour

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Mix 1 1/4 cups butter, both sugars, cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 4 cups cake flour until coarse crumbs form.
- Beat 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
- Whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and remaining salt, then stir them into the wet mixture.
- Spread the batter in the pan and cover it evenly with the crumb mixture.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the center is firm and a tester comes out clean, then cool before dusting with confectioners' sugar.
