2 lb skirt or flank steak
1/2 white onion
4 large garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
1 cube knorr beef bouillon
water to cook
2 tbsp vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Steps

Place the steak, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and bouillon in a large pot and add enough water to cover.
Bring the pot to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes until the beef reaches 145 F and is tender.
