Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 5 large garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
- 2 lb side of salmon
- 1 pinch sea salt (optional)
- 1 pinch cracked pepper (optional)
- lemon slices
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp dried dill
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then stir in the lemon juice, garlic, brown sugar, and dill.
- Place the salmon in a lightly oiled baking dish, season with salt and pepper, and brush with the butter mixture.
- Top with lemon slices and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 145 F and flakes easily.
- Sprinkle the baked salmon with parsley before serving.
