- 5 lb chicken drumsticks
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 4 large garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- sesame seeds and chives for garnish (optional)
Steps
- Whisk the honey, soy sauce, orange juice, mustard, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Reserve half the mixture, coat the drumsticks with the rest, and refrigerate them for 6 hours.
- Heat the oven to 425 F and arrange the drumsticks in a large baking dish.
- Bake for 40 minutes, brushing the chicken with the reserved mixture halfway through.
- Boil the remaining glaze in a small saucepan for 5 minutes, then brush it over the chicken.
- Bake for 5 more minutes, until the thickest pieces reach 165 F.
