Ingredients
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 brie cheese round in diameter
- 1 large egg
Steps
- Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature for 10 minutes, and heat the oven to 400 F.
- Mix the honey, dried cherries, pecans, and rosemary in a small bowl.
- Place one pastry sheet on a baking sheet, set the brie in the center, and spread the topping over it.
- Cover the brie with the second pastry sheet, seal the edges, and trim away excess pastry.
- Beat the egg with a little water, brush it over the pastry, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
- Rest the baked brie for 5 minutes before cutting.
