Ingredients
- 4 lb / 2kg good corned beef
- 4 tbsp fresh coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp liquid smoke (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F.
- Rinse the corned beef with water and pat it dry.
- Mix the black pepper, coriander, mustard powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Brush the corned beef with liquid smoke if using, then press the spice mixture over every side.
- Place the beef in a roasting pan and roast for about 45 minutes, until the center reaches 145 F.
