Ingredients
- 1/4 watermelon
- 1/2 cantaloupe
- 1/2 pineapple
- 1 cup grapes
- 6 oz blueberries
- 2 1/2 slices firm ripe bananas cut into 1/2 inch
- 4 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate or chocolate chips
- 1 tsp shortening
Steps
- Heat a grill to medium, about 350 F.
- Cut the watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and bananas into skewer-sized pieces.
- Thread the watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and bananas onto skewers, leaving the grapes and blueberries aside.
- Grill the fruit skewers for 2 minutes per side, turning carefully.
- Melt the chocolate and shortening in a small saucepan over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring often.
- Add the grapes and blueberries to the skewers, drizzle with the melted chocolate, and cool for 5 minutes.
