Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 bags (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 3 cups golden grahams
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- heaping 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 cups rice krispies or crispy rice cereal
Steps
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla, and salt until smooth, about 4 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and fold in the crispy rice cereal and golden grahams.
- Press the mixture firmly into a buttered 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Cool the treats for 5 minutes before cutting them into bars.
