Ingredients
- 7 oz maria cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- garnish dulce de leche (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 325 F and grease an 8-inch round pan.
- Crush the Maria cookies, mix them with melted butter, and press the crumbs firmly into the pan.
- Beat both packages of cream cheese with condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the crust and bake for 35 minutes, until the center is firm.
- Cool the cheesecake for 10 minutes, then spread optional dulce de leche over the top.
