500 g beef
2 chopped onions
2 chopped carrots
2 cloves garlic
2 bay leaf
200 ml red wine
2 L water
3 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Steps

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Brown the beef for 6 minutes, stirring several times.
Add the onions, carrots, and garlic, then cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the wine, mustard, bay leaves, paprika, salt, pepper, and 2 cups of water.
Cover and simmer for 25 minutes until the beef reaches 145 F and is tender, then remove the bay leaves.
