Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs
- 4 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp celery salt
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F and line a large baking sheet with the 2 tablespoons oil.
- Mix panko, cornstarch, flour, celery salt, salt, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, basil, thyme, oregano, and pepper in a wide bowl.
- Press each chicken thigh into the crumb mixture until fully coated.
- Arrange the coated thighs on the prepared baking sheet with space between them.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, turning once, until the coating is crisp and the thickest thigh reaches 165 F.
