Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oreo cookies

Steps

  1. Let the butter and cream cheese soften at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt in a medium bowl for 5 minutes.
  3. Beat the butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla, then mix in the dry ingredients and crushed cookies for 8 minutes.
  5. Chill the dough for 60 minutes.
  6. Heat the oven to 350 F, scoop the dough onto baking sheets, bake for 12 minutes, and cool for 7 minutes.
