Ingredients
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp milk
- 5 oreo cookies
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease an 8-inch square pan with butter.
- Melt the chocolate and 3/4 cup butter together in a heatproof bowl for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Whisk in the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt, then fold in the flour and 8 broken cookies.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 22 minutes, until the center is set and the eggs are fully cooked.
- Cool the brownies in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Beat the remaining butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, spread the frosting over the brownies, and top with the remaining broken cookies.
