Ingredients
- 15 oz can of chickpeas
- 2/3 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 bunch cilantro (optional)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp chopped pistachio
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 drizzle harrissa infused olive oil (optional)
Steps
- Thaw the frozen peas in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes, then drain them.
- Drain the chickpeas and add them to a food processor with peas, tahini, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes, and water.
- Blend for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl once, until mostly smooth.
- Blend in more water as needed for a soft texture.
- Spoon the hummus into a bowl and top with pistachios, parsley, and the infused oil.
