Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups rice chex cereal
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 1/2 cups small marshmallows
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/3 cup chocolate chunks
- 3/8 cup small marshmallows (optional)
- powdered sugar (optional)
Steps
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat for 1 minute.
- Add 4 1/2 cups marshmallows and salt, then stir for 3 minutes until smooth.
- Remove the pan from the heat, fold in the cereal and chocolate chunks, and add the extra marshmallows if using.
- Press the mixture into a greased 8-inch square pan, dust with powdered sugar if using, and cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
