Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1/2 tsp espresso powder
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Warm the evaporated milk, chocolate, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Whisk the sugar, flour, espresso powder, eggs, vanilla, and salt into the chocolate mixture.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and pour the filling into the crust.
- Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 minutes, until the center is set and the edges are firm.
- Cool the pie for 10 minutes before slicing.
