Ingredients
- 6 tbsp cocoa powder
- 250 g flour
- 300 g sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 150 g butter
- 250 ml water
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 50 g white chocolate
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cups milk
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Whisk the flour, 6 tablespoons cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix in the eggs, butter, and water until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 28 to 32 minutes, until the center springs back.
- Simmer the milk and remaining cocoa in a saucepan for 10 minutes, then whisk in the white chocolate, powdered sugar, and melted butter until glossy.
- Cool the cake for 10 minutes, spread on the glaze, and cool for 10 more minutes.
