Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 rd cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup unbleached white flour
- 1 tbsp whole fat sour cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate bar with almonds
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl, then whisk in the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped almond chocolate and spread the batter in the pan.
- Bake for 20 to 24 minutes, until the center is set.
- Cool the brownies in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting.
