Ingredients
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion
- 1 cup mushroom
- 2 cups chicken breasts
- 2 cups peas and carrots
- 2 cups farfalle pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat, then cook the onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring, until the pieces are no longer pink outside.
- Stir in the farfalle, chicken broth, garlic powder, thyme, bay leaf, and peas and carrots.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring twice.
- Remove the bay leaf and cook until the chicken reaches 165 F and the pasta is tender.
