Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup finely grated pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and black pepper
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and bake the bacon on a rimmed baking sheet for 15 to 18 minutes, until crisp.
- Cool the bacon, crumble it finely, and stir it with cream cheese, cheddar, pepper jack, green onions, hot sauce, parsley, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Season the cheese mixture with salt and pepper, then chill it for 30 minutes.
- Shape the mixture into two balls and chill them for 45 minutes.
- Roll the chilled cheese balls in the chopped pecans, then chill for 30 minutes before serving.
