Ingredients
- 1 large loaf of sourdough
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 1/2 tbsp ranch dressing seasoning mix
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 8 slices cooked bacon
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and slice the sourdough loaf crosswise and lengthwise without cutting through the bottom.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in the cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and garlic salt.
- Spread the butter mixture into the cuts, then fill them with cheddar, pepper jack, and chopped bacon.
- Wrap the loaf in foil and bake on a baking sheet for 20 minutes.
- Unwrap the loaf and bake for 8 to 10 minutes more, until the cheese is melted and the edges are crisp.
