Ingredients
- 3/4 lb flat iron steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 8 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup grape tomatoes halves
- 1 cup bocconcini mozzarella balls
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 red onion
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
Steps
- Use flat iron steak already cooked to 145 F and cooled before assembling the salad.
- Whisk the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Toss the mixed greens, tomatoes, mozzarella, avocado, onion, and basil with half the dressing.
- Slice the steak thinly and place it over the salad.
- Drizzle the remaining dressing over the steak and chill the salad for 30 minutes.
